How to Upload your Template

Upload a template to make it available in SchemeFlow.

Uploading changes to an existing template

  1. Open SchemeFlow. You should see the Home page by default. If not, click the back button in the top-left corner.

  2. Go to the Templates page.

  3. Click Manage Templates.

  4. Find the template you have made changes to.

  5. Make sure the Word document you want to save is currently open and the SchemeFlow sidebar is visible.

  6. Click Save to upload the updated version of the template.

Uploading a new template

  1. Go to the Templates page and click New.

  2. Choose the template type:

    • Generative Template
      • Prepared by SchemeFlow
      • Includes maps and content controls
      • Allows maps to pre-populate the report
      • Enables adding content via the SchemeFlow sidebar
    • Standard Template
      • A regular Word template
      • Does not include SchemeFlow maps or content controls
  3. If uploading your own report, select Standard. This will create a new section where you can upload your template.

  4. Ensure the template document you want to upload is open with the SchemeFlow sidebar visible.

  5. Save the template to add it to SchemeFlow.

WARNING

Always confirm the correct document is open before saving or uploading a template. Editing or removing SchemeFlow tags or content controls may break template functionality.
