How to Edit your Template

Edit a template to update structure, styles, or content.

Steps

  1. Open SchemeFlow. You should see the Home page by default. If not, click the back button in the top-left corner.

  2. Go to the Templates page.

  3. At the bottom of the page, click Manage Templates.

  4. On the template list, you will see several options:

    • Visibility toggle (control who can see the template)
    • Tags (edit or update template tags)
    • Delete icon
    • Open and Save Template buttons

  5. Click Open on the template you want to edit. The template will open as a new Word document.

  6. Make your required changes in the document, such as:

    • Updating dates (e.g. 2025 → 2026)
    • Updating wording or guidance
    • Making structural or formatting changes

Notes

  • The Word document includes SchemeFlow tags and placeholders used for maps and dynamic content.

  • It is best practice not to edit or remove these tags, as this may break the template. You can safely edit the surrounding text, headings, and styles.
